Lunarpages has a very in depth verification process when it comes to activating new accounts. This is to both protect both yourself and Lunarpages. Here are a few frequently asked questions about the process for new customers.
How long does it take to activate my new hosting account?
- With the shared web hosting plans, (Basic, Business, Windows, LPQuicksite) your order should be verified and setup within 24 hours of us getting your first payment. If you had paid via credit card, this should happen quickly. If you have selected an alternative payment method, then the process might take a little longer (24 - 48 hours). Dedicated and VPS orders will take longer due to a more complicated setup process.
I got an e-mail saying you haven't received payment and my account is already active?
- It could be that you signed up more than once with that domain when signing up, and we have a duplicate of your account on record. Please put in a Help Desk ticket or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org and we can check into this for you. Please also be sure to include your primary domain name with your message you send to us.
It has been over 48 hours and I still have not heard anything back from Lunarpages on my new order?
- E-mail us at email@example.com or put in a Help Desk ticket and we can check into this for you. Also be sure to include your primary domain name with your message. Chances are your account was activated, you may have just not gotten your welcome e-mail or it was filtered out of your e-mail by mistake.
Getting a lot of e-mails here, when will I know my account is setup?
- Once your web hosting account ordered, you will get a few e-mails in from Lunarpages welcoming you into the family here. The one you need to keep an eye out for will have the subject: Welcome to Lunarpages - Critical Account Info. It will have your login information, server information and other details about how you can gain access to your new Lunarpages web hosting account.
