ASP (also known as Active Server Pages) was developed by Microsoft as its first server-side script engine. To learn more about ASP's history, please check this link:

For ASP activation we charge $2.95 per month per domain or subdomain. It is not provided as a standard feature with our hosting accounts, unless you have the Windows hosting plan. We use Chilisoft ASP as the ASP engine behind the action.

ASP/JSP are not available on servers running Apache 2.0.

Also Please Note: ASP and ASP.net are not one in the same. If you need ASP.net support, you would need to use our Windows-based hosting plans.

How Can I Add ASP Support to My Web Site?

To add ASP support to your hosting account, please send us the following to sales@lunarpages.com or via a help desk ticket.

  • Primary Domain Name:
  • User Name:
  • The Last 4 Digits of Your Credit Card:

If you do not have a credit card on record then please provide:

  • Primary Domain:
  • User Name:
  • Postal Address:
  • Phone Number:
  • First/Last Digits of Password:

Windows hosting plans already have support for ASP built in for free, but any Linux-based shared hosting plan will need to pay to have this activated.

This Feature is Available on These Shared Hosting Plans: Basic, Business, Windows (no charge, supported by default), and Reseller Plans
