Do You Need a Dedicated SSL Certificate? Depending on your status with your store, you may or may not need to get a Dedicated SSL Certificate. You can learn more about the SSL Certificates here:
Shared SSL will not function with ASP, JSP or PHP pages. It will function only with HTML, and cgi/perl based documents/scripts/carts. This is due to security restrictions on the servers.
