How to Create a PostgreSQL User

Click the "PostgreSQL Manager" link in the left sidebar menu of LPCP.

On the next page, go down until you see a section labeled, Create PgSQL User. Here you will want to type in the username and password. Retype your password again in the second text box marked. Once you have done that, click on the button labeled, Create.

If successful, you will get a message that says the PostgreSQL user was created.

How to Delete a PostgreSQL User

Click the PostgreSQL Manager link in the left sidebar menu of LPCP.

At the top of the page, you should see users listed at the top under PgSQL Management. To delete a user click the link that says, "(x)" next to the user's name. Next, you'll be asked to confirm the deletion, and then taken to a page which tells you the deletion was completed successfully.

How to Change a PostgreSQL User's Password

Click the PostgreSQL Manager link in the left sidebar menu of LPCP.

Scroll down the page till you see the section titled, Change PgSQL User Password. First you will want to select the user in question from the drop down box. Next, you will want to type in the new password, and finally you will want to re-type the new password into the third check box. Once that has been done, click the button labeled, "Change". Once that has been done successfully, you will get a message telling you that the password has been changed for that user.


Please Note: To edit or modify your PostgreSQL database relationships in LPCP, you will want to launch phpPgAdmin. This can be done by logging into your LPCP account for your web hosting plan, and clicking the link in the left navigation sidebar that reads, phpPgAdmi. This will launch the phpPgAdmin tool.
