Jailshell Disabled Commands

JailShell allows SSH access for Basic (shared) hosting plans using CPanel. Only a handful of servers have JailShell, and it is an additional $2.00 per month.

To enable JailShell on your account may require a server move.

The following is the list of disabled commands:

  • ssh
  • su
  • telnet
  • traceroute
  • traceroute6
  • umount
  • uname
  • unicode_start
  • unicode_stop
  • usleep
  • w
  • who
  • ypdomainname

enabled at ANY time - no exceptions.
