Registering your domain names with Lunarpages is an easy thing to do. Here we will explain to you how to do so via the Customer Account Page (for those of you with a credit card on record with your hosting account) and via the Lunarpages Help Desk (for those of you with an alternative payment method, such as PayPal, PayByCash, Check or Any Other Alternative). When registering your domain name, you remain the owner of the domain name. Lunarpages is only here to help you with the registration process.
Domain Name Prices and Additional Domain Services
Here are the prices for registering a domain name with Lunarpages. We can currently act as the domain name register for .com, .org, .name, .us, .biz, .info, .net, .ca and .co.uk.

Registering Domains via the CAP
If you have a credit card on record with your web hosting account, you can register domain names right from the Customer Account Page. The Lunarpages Customer Account Page (or sometimes called the CAP) is the brain of your web hosting account. From there you can register more domain names, manage your account information, renew your billing for your hosting plan and much more. Here we will cover how to register an additional domain name.
How do I register and manage a domain name via the Customer Account Page?
Registering a new domain name under your hosting account is a very easy thing to do. First step would be to sign into the Customer Account Page at https://account.lunarpages.com. Next you will want to go to where it says "Manage/Register Domains". Next you should see a screen like this:
Now if you can register a domain name via the Customer Account Page you should see a "Purchase New Domain" button.
This will be next to where it says "Modify Domain". A window should pop up and you will be taken through a wizard to get your new domain registered. In the following picture, this is what you would see for a two year domain name registration. If it were a one year registration, the costs would be changed to match with the prices mentioned at the top of this article.
If your in need of a .ca, or .name registration please contact email@example.com and we can do it for you from there. If not, put in your domain name, and then select your domain extension and if you want anonymous domain registration. Then click on "Check Availability" and the domain registration wizard will walk you through the rest of the process.
With the prices, the registration system will offer you a registration option based on your existing hosting plan duration. So if you are signed up for the one year Basic hosting plan for an example, you will be given the option to register a domain name for one year (12 months).
Registering Domains Using Alternative Payment Methods
Please note if you signed up with anything other than a credit card or e-check, registration of domains must happen via dropping in an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by putting in a help desk ticket. When requesting a domain name from a support ticket (or e-mail), to speed up the process please include the following information in your request:
- Primary Domain Name:
- New Domain Name You Would Like to Register:
- Postal Address:
- Phone Number:
